Meet the Doctor

Dr. James Cranford, Jr.  attended Life College in Marietta, Georgia where he received his B.S. in nutrition and in 1995 graduated with his doctorate in Chiropractic.  He took a  position at Tri- State Chiropractic located in Rossville, Ga before opening Chowan Chiropractic in his home town of Edenton, N.C. in 1999.  He specializes in hands on and instrument assisted chiropractic procedures for the conservative management of musculoskeletal conditions, such as neck, shoulder, lower back, auto and sports related injuries.  He feels that he excels at various headache treatments and has received extensive training on treating facial pain associated with TMJD.  He's the past president of the  Edenton/Chowan Chamber of Commerce, Edenton Rotary Club and has served on the Albemarle Board of Health.  He enjoys spending his free time with his family and attempting to play golf.  He looks forward to helping people with their health concerns at both Chowan as well as Albemarle Chiropractic.
